What is Laser Skin Resurfacing?
Fractional Carbon Dioxide (CO2) laser skin re-surfacing treatment is one of the most advanced skin rejuvenation treatments available and is known for being effective in treating both superficial and deep skin problems, such as acne scarring, wrinkles and pigmentation with minimal downtime. The skin is smoother, fresher and more youthful.
How does Laser Skin Resurfacing Work?
Our 3D Aesthetics laser skin resurfacing technology uses a special fractional scanning delivery system, which combines CO2 skin resurfacing and collagen rejuvenation in a single laser.
The laser targets damaged skin to break it down whilst leaving the remaining skin intact. This encourages healing and collagen stimulation to replace damaged skin and leave you with fresh, glowing, healthy skin. The laser can target the skin to not only improve the appearance of pores on the outer layer of your skin, but also work deep into the dermis to smooth and reduce the appearance of acne scars.

What will happen during treatment?
You will have a thorough skin assessment and consultation prior to treatment and we will perform a patch-test to assess your skin’s response to the laser.
We will numb the area using local anaesthetic to ensure minimal discomfort and take photographs for your records and so that you can see the impressive transformation of your skin. Only one treatment is required to see a dramatic improvement but a follow-up treatment may be done after 1 month. we offer great discounts for packages of treatment.
What to expect after treatment?
Immediately after the treatment your skin will be red, similar to a minor sunburn. This may last a few days and, depending on the type of the treatment, you may also experience some swelling or flaking of the skin.
If you have treatment for pigmentation on the skin, this may darken soon after treatment and last a few days until it flakes away revealing fresher, smoother looking and feeling skin.
It is essential to use SPF 30 following any laser skin resurfacing treatment, and to avoid prolonged sun exposure for at least 30 days following.
