Morpheus8 Treatment in London
What is Morpheus8 and how does it work?
Morpheus 8 is the most advanced fractional radiofrequency device on the market, reaching depths of up to 4mm. The treatment combines radiofrequency technology with fractional micro pins, similar to microneedling, that penetrate the skin for deep tissue remodelling.
The silicone-coated pins create tiny injuries to the skin, stimulating a natural healing response which triggers the production of new collagen and elastin fibres that tighten and smooth the skin, resulting in a healthier tone and texture to the skin with reduced fine lines and wrinkles.
Morpheus 8 has been clinically-proven to delivery fractional radiofrequency energy deep in to the dermis, which further enhances skin tightening to treat double chin and jowls in addition to scar reduction.
What happens during Morpheus8 treatment?
A topical anaesthetic will be applied to your skin 30 minutes prior to the procedure. The hand-held device will then be placed over the treatments areas, during which time you may feel some tingling and heating of the skin.
The treatment will take approximately 20 minutes for full face and neck. It is normal to experience redness after the procedure and your skin feel rough for a few days followed by some minimal peeling.
The silicone coated pins of the Mopheus8 device mean that the surface of the skin receives minimal heat meaning that the risk of pigmentation to darker skin types is minimised and downtime is lower that other forms of resurfacing such as co2 lasers.
