What are Skin Tags and Moles?
Skin tags and moles are benign (non-cancerous) skin lesions that are formed of excess skin that can appear anywhere on the body. They are very common in both men and women and are traditionally removed by surgery to cut the lesion away from the skin. What happens during the Skin Lesion removal treatment?
Plexr® skin lesion removal is comfortable and relatively pain-free. After a thorough consultation, photographs will be taken and an anaesthetic cream will be applied or injected to the area prior to treatment. The Plexr® device is then passed along the skin in order to remove the skin lesion. The treatment may feel hot in places and there may be a tingling or mild burning sensation during the treatment. Only one session is required and treatment is permanent once the lesion has been removed.
